Scuba Diving Grand Cayman - Oro Verde

Posted by swsmeltzer 113 days ago News
http://stevenwsmeltzer.com — There are interesting wrecks in Grand Cayman besides the USS Kittiwake. The Doc Poulson is a purpose sunk shipwreck on the western part of Grand Cayman. The ship was to create an artificial reef and there are a variety of fish around the ship fish from Goliath grouper, to Queen Conch, making this a good place for underwater photography. Penetration is easy allowing a diver to explore the decks and the hold however, the Doc Poulson is a small site and usually combined with diving the reef nearby. This is a better wreck dive when there are no more than 5 to 6 divers. It can be a good night-dive spot for an underwater photographer with a variety of marine life.
