"There are several incorrect reports on Bret's condition," the rep said, addresing online stories that the former Poison frontman, 47, had regained consciousness and was speaking. "Bret remains in critical condition at an undisclosed location. Further tests are being run and information will be updated in the coming days."
Michaels' father Wally Sychak told RadarOnline.com he spoke to his son in the hospital Friday morning.
"He sounded upbeat and positive but they had him sedated," Sychack said. "But he's doing good. [sic] He sounded like my son."
